This plaque was unveiled on 4 December 2011 by the Honourable Peter Ryan MLA Deputy Premier of Victoria 
Minister for Police and Emergency Services to commemorate the dedication of the MFB Fallen Firefighter Memorial

The memorial honours the ultimate sacrifice of those MFB firefighters who have lost their lives in the line of duty.

The memorial also recognises the courage and commitment of all MFB firefighters including those colleagues who have passed away whilst in the service of the MFB.

We will forever remember our loved ones, friends and colleagues.
