The walls commemorate people who have been lost at sea in the waters around King Island and those whose ashes have been scattered in the area. The walls feature a series of memorial plaques to individuals.

These Memorial Walls Are Dedicated In Memory Of
Fishermen And Others Whose Lives
Have Been Lost At Sea Around And From Our Island.
To Those Whose Ashes Have Been Scattered In This Area,
On Sea And Land And To Those Men And Women, Who
Under The Umbrella Of Lions International,
Unselfishly Gave Freely Of Their Time And Resources
To Make King Island A Better Place For All.
