This memorial was erected in 1981 in memory of those men listed below who were killed as a tribute to those who toiled in the Korumburra and District coal mines from their inception until the last mine closed.
This plaque was unveiled by the Honorable Robert MacLellan, MLA, Minister of Transport on March 15, 1981
