The Volunteer

Selflessly giving up their time

On 12 January 2014 our community faced a devastating fire in extreme conditions.  A total of 57 homes by the Parkerville, Stoneville and Mount Helena bushfire.    350 properties were damaged and 386 hectares were burnt.  Through the tireless efforts of many, hundreds of homes were saved.

To celebrate the community's resilience and journey towards recovery, an art piece has been in each impacted suburb to represent their spirit.
