Front Inscription

In memory of Flight Lieutenant Frank Langford of Sydney and Flight Lieutenant Douglas Batzloff who died in the crash of an RAAF Mosquito reconnaissance aircraft at Saddle Mountain, Cromarty on 25 March 1947.

Their families and friends, the RAAF and the Cromarty community will never forget them.

Australia is fortunate to have had such fine young men serve their nation.  

Their names will live forever.
