Plaque commemorates the centenary of Rugby league and the historical significance of the site.

Rugby League was first played in Dubbo in May, 1912. Since the establishment of the Group 11 competition in 1922, Victoria Park No. 1 Oval has hosted local grand finals and representative fixtures featuring district combinations and visiting international teams.
