The Sporting Walk of Fame is Baw Baw Shire Council`s recognition of outstanding achievements in sport for local people.

The Walk of Fame celebrates local sportspeople who made an impact during their careers through a series of plaques in Warragul’s Civic Path. To qualify for the Walk of Fame, a person must have resided in the Baw Baw Shire for a given period of time, and have achieved great success on the elite sporting stage.

Inductees Include: Lionel Rose, Alan Noonan, Peter Knights, Jason Bright, Gary Ablett, Kathy Watt, Barry Round, Jodi Quinlan, Les Griggs, Tim Forsyth, Gary Ayres, Marisa Yeaman, Michael Scandolera, Harley Watts, Mark Ridgeway, Paul Maisey and Peter Bartels.
