OIympic Flower Bed

Dedicated as a Botanic reminder of the day
the Olympic Flame was in Mildura.

The rose bed featured 51 bushes of the Olympic Rose,
one for each torch bearer who took part in the torch relay.

A perennial plant known as Wormwood,
which has a silver leaf, and
bronze carex grass were
also planted in the bed.

Two nominated torch bearers did not participate on the day.
