The plaque commemorates the centenary of Rugby League in Bathurst. The plaque also acknowledges the contribution of volunteers and the wider Rugby League community.
On April 26, 1913 North Sydney and South Sydney played a trial match which proved the catalyst for the establishment of Rugby League in Bathurst.
