Uniting Church Memorial WallPrint Page Print this page

Uniting Church Memorial Wall is built from stone that was part of the Memorial Wall and Gate of the former Methodist Church in Forest Road Peakhurst originally constructed in about 1850 - 60. The stone was brought to Lugarno for the Wall to mark the uniting of the Peakhurst Methodist Church and the Lugarno Memorial Church on 7 November 1976.

Three plaques or tablets from the original churchgate record the names of the Peake family, famous early setters in this local area.
