AUSTRALIAN VOLUNTEER COASTGUARD 
CALOUNDRA ASHES MEMORIAL WALL 

ERECTED IN MEMORY OF THOSE WHO ASHES HAVE BEEN SCATTERED OF THIS HEADLAND BY THE AUSTRALIAN VOLUNTEER COASTGUARD CALOUNDRA FLOTILLA FOUR AND OTHERS 
MAY THEY REST IN PEACE IN THE BOUNTIFUL OCEAN 
AS A RESULT OF AN INITIATIVE OF BEVERLEY DOUGAN AND THE VALUABLE ASSISTANCE OF COUNCIL STAFF AND COUNCILLOR TIM DWYER THIS MEMORIAL WAS ERECTED BY THE CALOUNDRA CITY COUNCIL FOR THE AUSTRALIAN VOLUNTEER COASTGUARD.
THIS PLAQUE WAS UNVEILED ON THE 7TH NOVEMBER 2007, JOINTLY BY 
COMMANDER BILL ROWLAND        COUNCILLOR TIM DWYER
