Front Inscription

This plaque was unveiled by the Hon. Jim Lloyd, MP, Minister for Local Government, Territories and Roads, on behalf of the Hon. John Howard, MP Prime Minister of Australia, to commemorate the re-opening of the Old Parliament House Gardens on 2 December 2004.

The reconsrtuction of these gardens was managed by the National Capital Authority on behalf of the Commonwealth of Australia.
