A memorial stone commemorates the first Guild Hall in the Diocese of Goulburn.

His Lordship Dr. Gallagher (Bishop of Goulburn) blessed and laid the foundation stone of the new Assembly Hall for the Burrowa branch of the A. H. C. Guild on Friday last, in the presence of a large assemblage. His Lordship delivered a brief but appropriate discourse.. The Rev. Father J. J. Fogarty and several laymen, also addressed the gathering. In honour of the event, a lengthy programme of sports was negotiated on the Guild ground.
