The memorial wall was erected by the Sutherland Shire in memory of those emergency services volunteers who have lost their lives serving the residents in times of emergency.

The wall contains a series of plaques and lists the names of those who have lost their lives from the Rural Fire Brigade and the Surf Lifesaving Association. The wall surrounds a Peace Fountain.
