The bronze statue commemorates the important role that the draughthorse played in the Wimmera, with the horse being eminently suited to work in the wheatlands of the Wimmera and Mallee.
Monument characteristics :
A horse statue on a large boulder, and has a plaque which shows a bas relief of draught horses pulling a cart.
