Royal Australian Air Force MemorialPrint Page Print this page

The Royal Australian Air Force Memorial commemorates men and women of the Royal Australian Air Force (R.A.A.F.) in World War Two.  The memorial consists of 36 R.A.A.F. squadron and unit plaques which were relocated from the Adelaide Airport. The plaques are mounted on both sides of three plinths in the form of a three blade propeller.

Although this is a World War Two Memorial, several of the plaques are dedicated to those who served with the Royal Australian Air Force in all conflicts.

The original trees and plaques located at Adelaide Airport were dedicated on the 18th October 1987 to airmen and women who gave their lives in the service of their country.
