The monument commemorates those who took part in the conflict of World War Two.  It consists of a symbolic anchor in blue, with draped chain, sitting on top of a stone and concrete stepped base. Three flagpoles are positioned behind the monument  and in front of a stone wall.

An "Australia Remembers" plaque is located on the stone wall.
