A plaque commemorates the 50th anniversary of the end of World War Two and the important role Bay Rock Lighthouse played during the war effort. The plaque has the Australia Remembers badge on the top and the Australian Coat of Arms at the bottom.

"Australia Remembers, 1945-1995" was a program of activities organised by the Federal Government to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the end of World War Two.
