THIS PLAQUE IS DEDICATED AND ERECTED
TO THE MEMORY OF ALL BATTALION PERSONNEL
WHO FAITHFULLY SERVED AND CARRIED OUT THEIR DUTIES
DURING THE MANY ATTACKS ON DARWIN
FROM THE 19TH FEBRUARY 1942 TO SEPTEMBER 1943
AND HONOURS THOSE WHO MADE THE SUPREME SACRIFICE.
