Cadoux Honour RollPrint Page
The honour roll commemorates those who served in World War Two.
A most impressive Anzac service was held at Cadoux on Sunday when approximately one hundred adults and fifty children attended. Gathering included visitors from Wongan Hills and Calingiri, who made the trip specially to take part in the service. Twenty-two ex-servicemen paraded, and in the absence of a clergyman service was conducted by Mr. W. Chapman. An address was given by Mr. H. Ackland, MLA, and during the service Mr. Ackland unveiled the new Honour Roll, which was a magnificent board, hand carved by Mr. J. Booth, of Nedlands. At the conclusion of the service afternoon tea was served and votes of thanks were accorded Mr. Ackland, Mr.W. Campbell, the bugler and Mr. J. Booth.
