The War Memorial Sound Shell and Gardens commemorate those who served in World War Two.

The East Torrens branch of the Mothers and Babies' Health Association had intimated that it would subscribe £1,500 towards the cost of an MBHA room and sound shell at the proposed Memorial Gardens site at the corner of Wood street and Parade Norwood, the Mayor of Kensington and Norwood (Mr. F. W. N. White) told the council last night.
