A monument commemorates those who served in World War Two and was erected on the 50th anniversary of the conflict. The memorial lists the names of those who served. 

Monument characteristics :

The monument is a black three-sided obelisk with metal plaques.

"Australia Remembers, 1945-1995" was a program of activities organised by the Federal Government to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the end of World War Two.
