The honour roll commemorates those who served in World War Two.

Pirieans are invited to join with Warnertown district residents on Sunday afternoon in paying lasting tribute to those who enlisted from the district in the war, particularly those who did not return. At 2.30 in Warnertown Hall the unveiling ceremony of the handsome honor roll and memorial tablets will be performed, with Mr. F. N. Young as chairman.

The unveiling of the honor roll will be in the hands of Messrs. J. Clark, J. Foristal, and G. Lock, and Messrs. C. G. Plenty and F. Nunan, who lost a son each in the war, will unveil the tablets.
