Gates and archway commemorate the district servicemen and servicewomen who served and those who died in World War Two.

Monument characteristics :

The monument comprises of metal gates with an arch at the entrance to the World War One monument.  The top of the arch was specifically dedicated to Sergeant E Wilton who was killed in action on August 25th 1943 during World War Two.
