This Memorial Town Hall and Public Library was erected in honour of the men and women of Temora and District who served in the Armed Forces during the 1939-1945 War.

Officially opened by His Excellency the Governor of New South Wales Sir Arthur Roden Cutler VC, KCMG, CBE on 23rd June 1966.
