A garden commemorates those who died in service or were killed in action during World War Two. The stone pillar in the garden has a light fitted to the top. A plaque was placed in the garden by the Camden Historical Society during the bicentenary of Australia in 1988.
The Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon, R. G. Menzies. C.H., Q.C., M.P., has advised that he will be pleased to take part in the opening ceremony of the Memorial Garden in John Street, Camden at 2.15 p.m., on Saturday, September 25th prior to a showground function.
