The honour roll commemorates employees from the C.S.R. mill who served in World War One.

The Childers Mill Honour Roll was unveiled in the mill reading room on the 30th June 1917 by Mr H. J. Sinclair, chief engineer who was leaving to take up a similar position in Millaquin refinery. There were no fewer than 58 names on the roll, all of whom had been employees at one time or another.
