Cairns & District Roll of Honor

[ Names ]

Above are the 1272 names of the men and women who enlisted for the Great War from Cairns, of these 197 did not return
to their families and friends.

They paid the supreme sacrifice.

There were several hundreds more who answered the Call to Arms from small towns, mining camps, stations and
localities scattered across the Atherton Tablelands and Far North Region.

Lest We Forget.

This project is proudly supported by the Queensland Government
