The honour roll commemorates past pupils from the school and district who served in World War One.

The unveiling of the Memorial Board to soldiers of the Aloomba district will take place in the Aloomba School on Saturday evening, 25th inst. This is a fine piece of work, being of hammered copper based on North Queensland timbers, and is intended to perpetuate the services of those sons of the district who enlisted for the war.

The board is expected to arrive within a few days, when it is intended to display it in one of the business-house windows of the town. The unveiling function is to be followed by a social and dance in the Aloomba Hall, at which the Gordonvale Band will be present to provide music The committee wish all returned soldiers to be their guests that evening.
