Kerrie Memorial TreesPrint Page Print this page

The trees commemorate those who served in World War One. The Red Cedar and Douglas Fir trees, which surround the former Kerrie Primary School No. 1290, were planted after World War One for every man who served in that war.

The trees are an unusual example of commemorative trees planted as a copse, instead of the traditional avenue of honour.
