The structure with seating commemorates the centenary of the ANZAC landing at Gallipoli in Turkey, on the 25th April 1915, during World War One.

The structure contains a series of panels relating to World War One.

This memorial is a joint venture between the Bald Hills ANZAC Day Committee and the Brisbane City Council.

This memorial commemorates the 100 year anniversary of the landing at Gallipoli on the 25th of April 1915.
