The honour roll commemorates those from the district who served in World War One.   The roll lists 24 names.

This honour roll was removed from the Plenty Hall when it was sold and when many families were moving out of the valley in the late 1960's.  The contents of the hall were sold and this honour roll disappeared.  One of the last residents of the valley was Bernie Menzies who lived with his wife, Kitty in the old Plenty School.

After his death when cleaning up, the honour roll was found, and passed to his niece Joan Excell, who with her sister Maire Woodhouse restored the honour roll.
