Royal Australian Engineers Vietnam MemorialPrint Page Print this page

Royal Australian Engineers Vietnam Memorial honours the 45 Royal Australian Engineers who died as a result of the service in South Vietnam between 1962 and 1972. It is constructed from 5 Bailey Bridge Panels and is backed by a rose garden.

This plaque on the memorial is a replica of the original plaque mounted in Vietnam on the Memorial at the Headquarters 1st Field Squadron in the Australian Task Force Base, Nui Dat. Because of its frail nature the original plaque is now displayed in the Museum.
