The monument commemorates those who served in the Vietnam War. The monument features a centrepiece memorial, a Long Tan cross surrounded on either side by etched pavers containing the names of those who served.

The waterfall and memorial walk was constructed by Rod and Pam Elkington in 2012.

The monument is within the Standown Caravan Park.  Anyone is welcome to visit the monument, but if they are not staying at the park, it would be preferable to park outside and walk in.
