A replica of the Long Tan Cross commemorates members of D Company 6th Battalion, Royal Australian Regiment (R.A.R. ) and 3 Troop First A.P.C. Squadron who gave their lives in The Battle of Long Tan, South Vietnam on 18th August 1966 and all Australians who died or were killed in the Vietnam War.

This Cross is a replica of the Long Tan Cross and was erected by the Devonport City Council In memory of those members of D Company 6 R.A.R. and 3 Troop First A.P.C. Squadron who gave their lives in The Battle of Long Tan, South Vietnam on 18th August 1966 and all Australians who paid the supreme sacrifice in South Vietnam.
