The Comboyne War Memorial was originally erected by the R.S.L.Sub-Branch to commemorate those from the District who died in service or were killed in action in World War One and World War Two.

Additional plaques have been placed to commemorate those from the District who served in World War One, World War Two, the Korean War and the Vietnam War.
