A memorial commemorates approximately 70 service personnel from Farina who served in World Wars One and Two. Funding was received through the Saluting Their Service programme.

Farina is on the old Ghan railway line and was once a bustling town. The current owner of the area commissioned the monument which was finished in 2014 for the first ANZAC day service.
