The Cenotaph was originally erected to commemorate those from the District who died in service or were killed in action in  World War Two.

In 2015, a black granite plaque was added  listing the names of those who died in service or were killed in action in World War One.

Barham District honours its servicemen and women. 

Their names are as leaves on a tree, but some have fallen.
