Front Inscription

This memorial is dedicated to the members of the Royal Australian Navy and Allied fleets who have defended our land in times of peril

 

Back Inscription

This Anchor Memorial was erected by the Darling Downs Sub Section, Naval Association of Australia, with the generous support from the Army Aviation workshops at Oakey.

The Anchor was unveiled by Vice Admiral Rod Taylor A.O., R.A.N. and dedicated by Senior Chaplain Graeme Adsett  R.A.N.R. on 26th March 1995
