St George War Memorial commemorates those who have served in conflicts in which Australia has been involved. 

The sandstone war memorial at St George was erected by former prisoners of war and the citizens of the district. It was unveiled by Honourable Reg Swartz, Minister for Health, who was a prisoner of war of the Japanese at Changi, Singapore, during World War Two.

Marble plaques are in memory of fallen Sailors, Soldiers, Airmen, and Women in World War One, World War Two and all other wars.
