The War Memorial was erected to commemorate those from Nerang and district who served in conflicts in which Australia has been involved. 

It was relocated and rededicated on the 31st March 1991.

Crafted from Tufa stone found on Cecil Farm in
the Numinbah Valley.
Stone Mason - ex 11892 D. A. D. Ross - 2 HD RNR
1916 - 1919.
Presented to the Nerang RSL Sub Branch
located in Station St. by Don Ross in 1949
