The monument commemorates those who have served in the various conflicts in which Australia has been involved.

It features a bronze statue of a World War One soldier holding a Lee Enfield rifle, and replaces the original war memorial which was unveiled on ANZAC Day 1991. The words Lest We Forget and ANZAC are on stone walls behind the statue.
