Shire of Monto War Memorial commemorates those from the district who served in conflicts in which Australia has been involved. The original war memorial gates have been replaced by a new memorial precinct which features three granite memorials. One of the memorials contains the honour roll of those who served in World War Two, Korea and Vietnam while another granite memorial is dedicated to those who lost their lives.
