The War Memorial commemorates those who have served in conflicts in which Australia has been involved.

The memorial, in the shape of a stylised Remembrance Book, lists the names of those from Croydon who fought in World War One, World War Two, the Korean War and the Vietnam War.

Surrounding the monument are a series of interpretations of weapons engraved with inscription of the dove of peace.
