Capella War Memorial was originally erected to commemorate those who died in service or were killed in action during World War One. The memorial is octagonal set on circular bases, flanked by two flagpoles. Names of the fallen World War One soldiers are listed together with their regimental number, name, battalion, killed or died of wounds, date and place of death. Names of those who lost their lives during World War Two were added to the top of the memorial at a later date.
