The monument is  dedicated to all citizens of Caboolture and district who fought and died to preserve Australia's freedom.

The memorial was upgraded to list the names of 27 local World War One personnel killed in action and relocated to Town Square.

This refurbishment was made possible by funding from the Federal Government, Moreton Bay Regional Council, RSL (Queensland Branch) Caboolture Morayfield and District Sub Branch Inc and the local community
