The War Memorial commemorates those from the district who served in conflicts in which Australia has been involved.   It was restored and rededicated in 2009.

The memorial plaques were unveiled by Member for New England, Tony Windsor and Member for Northern Tablelands, Richard Torbay.

The monument features honours rolls containing names of those from the district who served in the various conflicts. A plaque commemorating veterans of the Korean War 1950-1956 was unveiled in 2011.
