In 1944 designated Airfield Construction Squadrons

They constructed airfields and facilities in Australia, New Guinea, Netherland East Indies, Philippines, Borneo, Japan, Korea, Cocos Islands, Malaya, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam.
