A monument commemorates those who died in service or were killed in action in World Wars One and Two, the Korean and Vietnam Wars, and the Malaya and Borneo conflicts.

Members of Merredin C.M.F. and R.A.A.F. units will parade at the official unveiling of the new Merredin War Memorial on Anzac Day. The chairman of the Merredin War Memorial Committee (Mr. J. H. Kendall) will perform the unveiling.
The West Australian (Perth), 2nd April 1953.
