Memorial is a red granite stepped obelisk with wings erected to commemorate the fallen of World Wars One and Two.

Members of Merredin C.M.F. and R.A.A.F. units will parade at the official unveiling of the new Merredin War Memorial on Anzac Day. The chairman of the Merredin War Memorial Committee (Mr. J. H. Kendall) will perform the unveiling.
The West Australian (Perth), 2nd April 1953.
