The monument commemorates Merchant Navy sailors who have died in service or been killed by enemy action in conflicts in which they have been involved.

An "Australia Remembers" plaque commemorates the men and women who served Australia during World War two.

This memorial has been erected to honour and remember our fellow Merchant Mariners who paid the supreme sacrifice during the many conflicts in which they were involved.
